ABOUT THE PROJECT
The train arrives in is an experimental dance drama inspired by Leo Tolstoy’s novel Anna Karenina. The performance immerses the audience in the inner world of the heroine and explores the emotional split that leads Anna to her tragic end. The focus of the production is on three characters: Anna, her son Seryozha, and Vronsky.
This independent theatre project by director Irina Mikheeva and choreographer Olga Labovkina reimagines Anna’s story through the lens of contemporary dance, performance, and visual art.
